Buggy Weather

This is my bug character Tarquar, out enjoying his favorite kind of weather -- warm, wet and windy.
I haven't done clouds or large expanses of grass before, but I was very pleased with the results.

This started out as just an eyeball, then it expanded into a creature's head, then the whole creature, then this!

I like how it turned out. If there's anything that could use some improvement, feel free to point it out. Thanks for looking

This was an art trade with Caitlin Mulvihill (kaaziel.deviantart.com)
I really like this character of hers, it's one of the most creative I've seen on dA. I mentioned that I wanted to BE this guy, because I'd be able to scare people out of their houses and raid their fridges

And, oh lord, this picture wouldn't have been anywhere NEAR this good without Steven Stahlberg's visual critique. He also helped me on the lizard rapper, and July.
